Two original photographs by Jeffrey Becom, author of "Mediterranean Color," a book featuring intensely colorful architectural details and cultural objects of countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea.

These photos pre-date digital photography and were created from color transparencies.  Prints were made using the now discontinued but high-quality Cibachrome process, resulting in deeply saturated color and a brilliant glass-like finish. Both pieces are hand-signed and numbered by the artist.  Image sizes are approximately 13-1/2 x 9-1/2", and mats are 22 x 18".

Image #1:  "Old Stones, Pisa, Italy", #24/25, 1984.  Featured on Pg. 50 of the book.
Image #2:  "Old Tile, Alfama, Lisbon, Portugal", #2/25, 1987.  Featured on Pg. 95 of the book.

These photos are being sold UNFRAMED. They were previously framed and hung in a clean environment, and never exposed to direct sunlight.  Colors remain vibrant and virtually like new.  No notable flaws on either the images or the mats.

I'm offering these photos as a well-matched pair.  However, please contact me for pricing should you wish to purchase a single photo only.

Photos will be carefully packed and promptly shipped via USPS Ground Advantage service.  Alternatively, items can be shipped via Priority Mail by request.

Thank you!
