These parts are suitable and required to run a tachometer drive on your bevel single or early twin.  Why did Ducati design it this way?  Who knows?  But here they are.

NOTE:  This kit should be suitable for all singles and first generation 750s with separate, roll-pin-retained drive.  If your tachometer drive housing is cast integral with the gear cover, this setup will NOT work for you.

Ducati's part numbers are 0420-98-030 for the shaft, 0022-49-240 for the sleeve.
