Eric Kraft has been creating the saga of Peter Leroy for decades. It is one work of fiction composed of many interconnected parts.

First there were 8 novellas in serial form - initially published by Apple-wood Books based in Cambridge, Massachusetts; then by Warner Books, based in New York City, New York. 

Later, a 9th installment was added when all the stories were collected into one volume: LITTLE FOLLIES - THE PERSONAL HISTORY, ADVENTURES, EXPERIENCES AND OBSERVATIONS OF PETER LEROY (SO FAR) - published by Crown in 1992.

There are also novels that can be considered "stand-alone", though they do feature characters from Peter Leroy's world.

That world is charming, peopled with lively and somewhat eccentric characters ... nostalgic almost to the point of mythic regarding American childhood in the 1950s-60s.
