CISCO 2500 Series 2501 2514 Ethernet Router Pair MUSEUM COLLECTION WORLD SHIP!  PLEASE NOTE: This RARE TO FIND Cisco 2501 and 2514 Routers was found in our corporate electronics storage closet. THEY ARE NEW IN BOX AND UNUSED.  The box does not contain the original styrofoam inserts, but all other cabling and documentation are original and new in plastic. This router would make a great piece for a vintage collector or museum display for networks. Comes in the original Cisco logo box in addition to all the original cabling and documentation still sealed in plastic.  I am the original owner!  Kept in a climate-controlled, ventilated, and virtually dust free, media room.  I travel as a consultant so I have not had the opportunity to use this system.  Comes from a smoke-free, professional home and will be packed very carefully.  Please email me if you have any questions prior to your bid.  Comes with what you see in the pictures only.  Serial Tag Number: 251381411 and 251381435

Cisco 2500 routers come with Flash EPROM technology for simplified software maintenance. These systems support a variety of Cisco IOS software feature sets, so you can choose a feature set that supports your specific protocol environment. The software feature sets range from an IP and bridging-only to the full array of Cisco’s software functionality, including APPN and RMON. Mission specific models contain less memory and less hardware functionality to support a subset of protocols. Each mission specific model can be upgraded to full router capability by downloading a new Cisco IOS software feature set and, if necessary, adding memory.
