This listing is for a remarkably eye pleasing retired LLADRO NEO centrepiece. It is a large figurine of a Classic Woman Water Carrier crouching holding a rose with a very contemplative expression on her lovely face. What to say about this stunning high quality gres porcelain figure from Lladro?? Was it love at first sight??? The piece is so full of emotion. First, the colors are incredible. Her pose, the way she holds her head up with her hand, turns her foot backward, eyes closed, and holds her open hand over the pot, all speak of deep emotion. The artist, Juan Huerta , has outdone himself with this beautiful work of art from 1981.

It is in a Gres or Matte finish porcelain stoneware decorated in ochre and brown tones with hints of blue and mauve on her skirt hem. The flower is mauve/pink and green. Signed to base. It comes with a separately boxed hardwood base.
