FULL TITLE: Oitinense oppidulum et arx Episcopi Lubecensis Sedes / Delineatio Civitatis Tonderensis
The upper engraving is a depiction of Eutin (pronounced oy-teen), located east of Hamburg, between Lubeck and Kiel in northern Germany, was founded as a colonial settlement in 1143. Thanks to its geographical position, Eutin offered a maximum of safety and thus developed so quickly that it acquired the status of a town as early as 1256 or 1257.
The lower engraving shows the town of Tonder in Demark.
