Japanese Porcelain Soko China tea set, circa 1950s comprising of 6 luncheon plates, a sugar bowl with lid, a creamer with lid, 5 tea cups and 6 saucers for tea cups.


This is an elegant and striking tea set, hand painted with gold accents and a green bamboo pattern on a very dark blue, almost black, background.


Bamboo has long been known as the symbol of strength due to it's resilience.
