The disc tray for the console does have a difficult time opening up on its own sometimes so you may need to slightly pull the tray when putting in a new disc. The original AV cable cord looks like it may need to be replaced as well. I only could get this console to show picture when it was connected to a AV to HDMI converter. Sometimes you have to fiddle with it in order for the picture to show up, had no trouble loading the audio. Unsure if it’s the actual AV cable itself or the AV port on the console.
