An authentic vintage Baltic Amber bracelet, not to be confused with the rash of faux vintage crawling through eBay.
An exceptional bracelet consisting of 3 fabulous large cabochons in natural (not reconstituted) deep honey toned Russian Amber, study these under a loup & it will take your breath away, of 2.5cmx1.8cm, interspersed with 4 hollow silver "cabochons" which perfectly mimic the shape of the amber. Please note that at some time in their lives each piece of amber has been tested at the back.
One of the most tactile amber & silver bracelets I have ever come across, incredibly rare, completely black when I bought it, & it took hours to clean, with exquisite workmanship.
I thought this may have been Russian, unsure, but there are full hallmarks, I can make out the makers mark RAR & the 925 silver stamp out of the 3 stamps beneath on the back of the one silver back & 925 & another stamp on 2 sides of tongue closure.
Closes by way of a secure hinged push-in clasp, has an attached security chain, & will comfortably fit up to a 19cm (7.5") wrist
( I recommend you measure against other braceletes you own to give an idea as to the size )
