DONALD JAMES ZOLAN "Old Clock Craftsman" Oil Painting On Wood (12 ×9") Original.

Frame is 16 &1/2 by 19 & 1/2 and almost 2" thick.

This is not a copy, print or limited edition of the artists work.

I've seen many prints and copies of Donald ZOLAN's work go for $100 to $300.  This is an original. 

The painter has placed dabs of oil paint, raised and layered on the wood board to give a life like rendering of art.  The wonderful hand painted oil on wood. 

The male craftsman has a large Swirl of paint on his forehead.   The button on his shirt is almost 1/16 " high. It's hard to take accurate photos of the painting with the varnish on it. The signature I'm the top left corner isn't totally visible,  but the " Z " is perfectly visible with the "O"

You could enjoy this painting for years to come.

HE WAS AN AWARD WINNING MEMBER OF THE NEW YORK SALMUGUNDI CLUB AND A MEMBER OF THE PRESTIGIOUS SOCIETY OF ILLUSTRATORS.

I did notice there is a small damage to the frame on the lower right side.. front edge about 5 &1/2 inches long. Last photo shows it.  Probably from a fall before I received it
