Murano Sommerso (submerged) Textured Glass Bowl by Alessandro Mandruzzato dating to the 1970s.

This geometric five sided bowl has an ice textured underside and a layer of pink and blue submerged glass, within a salmon coloured outer casing. Tints and tones of lilac can be seen dependent upon which angle you observe it. As an added bonus, the glass also has a level of uranium in it as it shines a bright green under exposure to black light (my pictures don’t illustrate this very well because the batteries in my black light torch need to be replaced).

This piece of art glass is in excellent condition and retains its paper label.
