This is an original 19th Century map is over 130 years old and was rescued from a volume of The Encyclopedia Britannica -
Ninth Edition - 1886 – Edinburgh: Adam & Charles Black.

The Ninth Edition was often called the "Scholar's Edition" for its high intellectual standards and was published in 25 volumes between 1875 to 1889. The map publisher is W & A.K. Johnston. This firm was one of the major publishing houses of the 19th century, and interestingly one of their major achievements was that of the first physical globe, which won them a number of awards at the Great Exhibition of 1851.
This map is a single sheet, blank on the reverse, and measures approx. 10.5 x 12 inches, with clean borders for framing. It is not mounted, matted or framed so you are free to display it how you want.
