Find in the MECHA COLOR range 11 effect shades under the name MECHA WASH or WAETHERING which will allow you to achieve all the effects you wish to give to your creations. This range is specially dedicated to the realization of aged surfaces, worn by time or to highlight certain parts of your models. These paints are presented to you in a 17 ml bottle.

Whatever the surface, prolonged exposure to bad weather changes the colors. The sun, the wind, the rain, the dust or the snow generate a loss of intensity and a general unification of the hues. To add to the complexity, these variations are not uniform. Reproducing these alterations on a model has therefore always been complicated. The ideal solution for achieving these effects is to apply washes. These transparent filters will unify the colors of your camouflages while marking the details of your models. Washes can be applied with a brush or airbrush, mixed or overlapped (ideally leave 40 minutes between 2 applications) and of course all your equipment can be cleaned with water.

Each Wash corresponds to a base color, some references also allow you to make drips, others to make "pin wash" in order to mark even more the details of your models.

Mecha Wash or Waethering, can be applied with both brush and airbrush. As with all Prince August paints, the colors are intermixable. They can be diluted with water according to the desired effect.
For optimal use and to preserve all the properties of the colors, it is recommended to use the Prince August PM261 airbrush thinner or the PM262 Flow Improver which will bring fluidity and delay the drying of the acrylic on the needle and the airbrush nozzle. With the brush it brings more fluidity and recovery time. To be used on the entire Prince-August Mecha Color range without modifying the power of your shades.
Once protected by the varnish (gloss, matte or satin) the surfaces can be cleaned with solvent-based products. The color fastness when varnished is superior to any other water based acrylic.

The recommended compressor setting is 0.5 to 1 bar. For best airbrush maintenance, we recommend using Prince August Airbrush Cleaner Ref. : PNA or PNAGM

The dropper bottle will allow you to deliver the quantity necessary for your achievements without waste.
