Zemaitis has introduced the SCW22, a new model with a German carve top body design and fresh visuals.
The SCW22 features a basswood body, maple neck, and ebony fingerboard, combined with a bridge and tailpiece made of Zemaitis' original aluminum alloy.
Various factors affecting the tone, such as the body shape and neck joint construction, have been added to create a new sound character that is easy to use with amplifiers and effectors and has no peculiarities not found in previous Zemaitis models.
The 635mm scale is adopted, with medium jumbo size 22 frets.
Two Zemaitis original covered-type Virtuoso humbuckers are mounted on the pickups.
The controls are a master volume and master tone layout, and a treble bleed circuit is introduced to achieve the same tone as at full volume when the volume is turned down.
Locking tuners are used to minimize tuning deviations and ensure tuning stability.
