We are offering an early 1820's Biedermeier Inlayed Arch Top Dowry Chest with beautiful inlay burl medallions in the square panels. This dowry chest with high quality burled exotic wood inlay speaks for itself and was very likely custom made for a wealthy family. The exotic inlay patterns are throughout and the chest still retains its original decorated paper lining with a later linen insert. The hardware is early 19th century handmade hinges and original Key and Lock.
