An Acer XF270HU, 2560x1440 144Hz IPS monitor.

Unfortunately, it had for a few days been making some brief arcing noises, before something internally eventually gave way. The monitor no longer powers on.

I suspect it's a faulty component on the PSU board (monitor takes mains), probably an inductor given the arcing. I opened it up to see if there was something obvious, but the only visible mark is a slight scorch from me shorting out the main capacitor. I don't have the space or the equipment to investigate further, so hopefully someone else can make better use of it.

Monitor was working perfectly fine otherwise, so I doubt it's anything wrong with the panel or driver.

I no longer have the box.
