The Canon EOS R7 camera combined with the compact 200DLM underwater housing is a fantastic choice for photographers looking for high-quality imaging and ergonomics in a small form factor. The R7 boasts a 33 megapixel APS-C full frame sensor, 4K video at 60p (with crop), and in-body image stabilization of up to 7 stops. Its advanced AF tracking system and ability to shoot at 30 frames per second make it a top performer in the market. With a battery life of 660 shots per charge, it can easily handle a full day of diving.
The 200DLM housing is designed to be as small and lightweight as possible, while still providing easy access to all important camera functions at depths of up to 200 feet (60 meters). It is significantly smaller and lighter than housings for full frame cameras like the Sony a7 IV or Canon EOS R5. It comes with a built-in Ikelite bulkhead and manual flash hotshoe, which allow you to attach an underwater strobe right out of the box. It can also be expanded to TTL exposure with the optional DL5 DS Link TTL Converter.
For added peace of mind, consider purchasing the optional Vacuum Kit with 1/2” valve, which allows you to test the waterproof seals on your housing before diving.
The YS-D3 II strobe is designed with a new circuitry and light-emitting unit that provides a guide number of 33 on land. It also features a high precision aspherical optical troidal lens that disperses an even light from the center to the edges. When the standard Diffuser accessory is attached, the strobe's beam angle increases to 110°. By attaching the optional Dome diffuser, the beam angle expands to as wide as 150°.
It's important to note that these guide number and beam angle values are based on measurements taken on land, not underwater. Some competitors may list a guide number measured on land and a beam angle in water, but these values can be misleading. When using a strobe underwater, the guide number may be significantly lower than the value measured on land due to the dome effect.
Additionally, it's worth noting that a land-based strobe using the same four AA batteries as the YS-D3 may have a guide number of 60, but this measurement is taken under the condition that the focal length is equivalent to 200 mm (with a beam angle of 12°). As the beam angle becomes narrower, the brightness of the illuminated area increases due to the light-collecting effect.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with a product you purchased you can request to return it within 60 days of the original delivery date, subject to the conditions below.
General Return conditions:
- Returned items should be in their original packaging and include all accessories, manuals, batteries, adapters or any other items that were originally packed with the order.
- Mozaik will only accept returns of items that have not been assembled by the buyer or have not been used both above water and underwater.
- Returned items will be inspected and will only be accepted if the conditions above are met.
- All returns must be coordinated with Mozaik. Once approved for return, Mozaik will issue you a Return Authorization Number you must include with your returned items. We will not accept returns of items not approved by Mozaik.
- Shipping and packing returning items will be at the customer's expense. Items must be received at Mozaik's warehouse of choice no later than 60 days from the original delivery date of the order at the customers location.
- A store credit or refund will only be given after the product has been received and inspected by Mozaik staff and/or the manufacturer.
- Items that are Discontinued by the manufacturer at the time of return cannot be returned.
- The shipping charges incurred by Mozaik to originally post the product to the customer will not be reimbursed and will be deducted from the reimbursed amount whether it was originally paid by the customer or the order shipped free.
- Mozaik reserves the right to charge a restock fee of up to 20% on select items which are not regularly stocked.
