WW1 Imperial German Naval Wound Badge - Gold.

This is a smart reproduction of the World War 1 German Imperial Navy wound badges. Unlike the later Third Reich counterparts, the wound badges of World War 1 were split between the Army (Heer) and the Navy (Kaiserliche Marine). The gold class of the award would have been awarded to those who had sustained five or more wounds during service. The badge itself shows two swords crossed above an anchor, and the whole badge is surrounded by a chain rather than a laurel wreath.
