Black raspberry is a native shrub; it is also a parent of many varieties of hybrid raspberry. While one is unsure which type of raspberry would work, it won’t go wrong with a native one. Because black raspberry is tough and strong, most importantly, it tastes the best. No hybrid fruits can produce such a real raspberry fragrance.
