The smaller individual molds used to design each of Fitz & Floyd's exquisite pieces are applied separately to the main structure, and sometimes loosen over time.  Factory application of these smaller pieces is done with a two part epoxy in an inconspicuous carefully selected area, and this epoxy can dry out causing smaller decorative molds to separate from the main piece.

When removing seasonal pieces from any packaging, use extreme care to insure that none of the applied pieces have come loose.  In the event that this has happened, you can re-apply the piece using a two part epoxy (Devcon Two-Ton 5 minute or E6000 is recommended).  Carefully remove any dried epoxy from the main piece, clean the piece to be replied, and apply the fresh epoxy (carefully and sparingly) holding the piece in place till set.  When removing old dried epoxy, DO NOT pick!  Picking WILL cause chipping and misalignment when re-applying.  Use a recommended epoxy remover then, clean carefully before reattaching.
