Description
Lovely flowing vintage 1940s charmeuse ivory satin dress gown
nice quality fabric & workmanship, sure this was a expensive piece
there was a label but it has shredded
wrap style with 1 hook at the waist
semi wide attached waist ties, ties in front
side peplum effect with lace on the ends
lace is a tad darker shade
sleeves are smocked at the shoulders and open on the top
smocking on the side of the neckline where the lace starts
about a 4 inch train
right side down the front bodice is a row of pink ribbon rosettes & ribbon leaves
this appears to be newer & been added at a later time,
last pic is of the underside where the ribbon has been sewn on
cut on the bias
all in all this dressing gown is in lovely vintage condition, 1 tiny pin hole on the back, 1 fabric flaw, both very minor for the age of this gown
BUST 36", could go smaller or bigger being a open Vee neck line
WAIST 30", hook can be moved in if needed
