Rare officer's Military German watch of the 1940s in a solid steel case, official supply of the Wehrmacht, watches marked D.H. (Deutsches Heer - ground forces). Among German military watches, the "DOXA" brand is quite rare, mainly this company produced civilian watches.

In a polished steel case and with a good dial, the watch looks fresh, and at the same time with antiquity. Photographing a watch with a black dial is quite difficult, and due to glare, the photos do not convey the full depth and beauty of the subject. In life, they look very attractive on the hand. The case is original from stainless steel without coating. Screw-down case back, circular grain inside, ACIER INOXYDABLE (solid steel), SWISS MADE. The outside of the lid is stamped D.H. (Deutsches Heer, Wehrmacht order) and number. Preservation is excellent, after light polishing on the hand looks exceptional.

Black dial with distinctive military script, signed "DOXA". Original hands, small second. The radium luminosity on the numbers and hands has been removed, and a new composition has been applied. The old scratched plastic glass has been replaced with a mineral one for better readability and ease of use. Very good condition, looks stylish and vintage.

The mechanism is branded with the hallmark "DOXA", high-class, hand-wound with 15 jewels. Anti-shock device of the balance axis of the old type "Pare-Shock". Power reserve of about 40 hours. The accuracy is very good for a 70 year old device.
