One of the seven BenRiach single cask selection Batch 14 releases for 2017.
This Speyside single malt was distilled on 19th January 2007 using peated malt, before being filled to a first fill Oloroso sherry cask to mature for 10 years.
Bottled in June 2017 at a strength of 61.9% abv, only 475 bottles have been produced.
Wood smoke and plum juice on the nose, with dusted dates and a touch of vanilla, all warmed by a gentle oak spice.
The palate has sweet peat notes and milk chocolate amidst waves of vanilla, with contrasting white pepper and vibrant toasted oak.
