1989 Peugeot Hymer 2.5TD LHD
Hymer B564 with a Peugeot J5 2.5litre turbo diesel engine with 6 months MOT. I’ve owned it for 2 and a half years and have been renovating this van to make it my dream tiny home but its now time to pass this beautiful camper onto someone else to finish as I no longer have the time to give it the love and attention it deserves! It made it all the way down to the south of France last summer and have previously used it as my daily vehicle. Mechanically I’ve always immediately fixed any issues and kept the MOT up to date. Only 5 MOT’s until it becomes a classic!

Full service history with the van. It currently sits at 180,000km about 111,000 miles which is pretty good for the age! Starts first time, has a 4 speed column gear box and comfortably rides around 55mph.
Habitation
I have been upgrading this van one piece at a time and it’s not quite finished yet, the hab is still a project but in a motivated pair of hands can be finished in next to no time! A new off-grid electrical system has been installed and is running, there is a brand new pair of gas tanks with a pigtail system not yet installed. 16amp external supply still works and brings power to the fridge! I completely removed the original bathroom but do still have it if you would like to reinstall it after purchase. The B564 model comes with a shower cubicle, again I’ve got the original door but it’s a bit tight, so I bought a piece of acrylic not yet installed to replace it! It’s the English model so comes with an oven as well as a 2 ring hob. Awning worked last time I had it out just a couple of small holes in it, but legs still drop down. It has the infamous Hymer drop down bed which is still in fully working order and I fit on it quite comfortably at 6ft! The two sofas also turn into a double bed. 100 litre water tank with a brand new pump installed! I’ve kept all the bits and bobs underneath the sofa in the hab that you can take with you for further renovations!
