This is a stunning Uncirculated 5c coin depicting an 'Echidna' (Tachyglossus aculeatus) also know as a 'Spiny Anteater'.
This coin is a 'Queens Memorial' Dated Coin (1952-2022) which is not found in Sets.

BACKGROUND:

The Australian five-cent coin is the lowest-denomination circulating coin of the decimal set introduced 14th February 1966, replacing the pre-decimal sixpence. It has been the lowest-denomination coin in general circulation since the withdrawal of the one-cent and two-cent coins in 1992.
Echidnas belong to the family Tachyglossidae in the monotreme order of egg-laying mammals. The four extant species of echidnas and the platypus are the only living mammals that lay eggs and the only surviving members of the order Monotremata.
Coins featuring the Queens Effigy with a Memorial Dated Obverse (1952-1922) were released from the 1st of January 2023 following the passing of Queen Elizabeth in 2022. This Memorial Obverse was not included in 2023 Mint or Proof sets which were produced at the end of 2022 (even though the coins were dated 2023).
