Description

Antique 19th century, Qajar dynasty period Persian Shiraz Islamic splash glass carafe Surahi, hand-blown from clear blue and white glass, displaying exquisite craftsmanship. The carafe features a bulbous body with a tubular flared neck, which is adorned with a trailed spiral decoration resembling a snake with a flattened head. The slight curve of the neck makes it easier to pour liquid into cups, minimizing spills. The applied trailed spiral ornamentation also enhances the grip, ensuring a secure hold and preventing slipping.
