Very nice deep carved box with hinged lid. Top and front side is carved with some figures and buildings and floral motive around edges. Back and both sides are simpler but still have some carvings. Box has been put together with some special and different but equivalent to "duck tails"
Regular minor scratches as expected for vintage item. one corner wooden bracket chipped.
Inside box smells like cooking spices. I'm assuming that previous owner kept spices there.
