Desert locusts (schistocerca gregaria) are native to North Africa, Middle East and Indian subcontinents. A colorful and attractive insect used as a staple food in many reptiles diets. Ranging from 5mm to 60mm they can be used to feed a wide variety of animals from geckos to bearded dragons and even accepted by birds. With one of the highest nutritional values it makes locusts one of the very best feeder insects for your animals
Unlike a lot of other suppliers our locusts are bred on site by us in our purpose built facility. With over 100 years combined experience our staff are more than capable of producing and providing you with only the highest quality goods. None of our insects are drop shipped or packed by anyone else other than us to provide you with only the highest quality items.
You can contact us between 8 and 2 Monday to Friday and one of our helpful staff will be happy to help.
Orders placed before 1:30pm Monday to Friday will be packed fresh and dispatched the same day via royal mail 1st class post. Orders weighing over 3kg in weight will be dispatched by a ‘next’ working day courier service. Royal mail orders often arrive next day but can take up to 3 days.
