Up for sale is an antique Victorian sterling silver pocket watch chain with a  sterling silver fob. The most beautiful chain stitch - thin at both ends and wide in the middle. Each link of the chain is hallmarked with a  "lion passant" for sterling silver and in the middle is marked "H.B" into a rectangle for silversmith Henry Bourne from Birmingham.The dog clasp is hallmarked "H.B" into a rectangle-Henry Bourne/Birmingham/  "lion passant" for sterling silver and "i" for 1908. The T bar is hallmarked "WV&S" for silversmith William Vale & Sons/Birmingham/ "lion passant" for sterling silver and "P" for 1914 . The fob is round, surrounded by laurel wreaths and crowned with a royal crown. The cartouche is in the shape of a shield and is engraved. Hallmarked: "anchor" for Birmingham/"lion passant" for sterling silver/ "H" for 1932 and "J.F" in indented rectangle for James Fenton silversmith.See dimensions and the condition from the photos, they are an integral part of the description.It is in mint condition with normal signs of use for its age.
