Offering an authentic and RARE fraktur by noted fraktur artist John Derstine Souder (1865-1942) of Telford, PA,  There is an brief artist bio in the pictures, but to summarize, Mr. Souder was a noted fraktur artist who started later in life after the passing of his wife and is said to have produced most of his fraktur after the age of 70. This was painted in Telford, PA where he lived, and many of his works are part of the distinguished Pennsylvania fraktur collection at the Mennonite Heritage Society in Harleysville, PA.

This house blessing for Hans Sagen was painted on paper and signed by John D. Souder and dated 1940 in the heart in the lower left, and his initials JS are under the 1940 in the center heart, and I believe it is in it's original bird's eye maple frame.  The fraktur measures approx 8x10, and with frame is 11-1/4"x13-3/8".

This is a chance to own a piece of local Mennonite Montgomery/Bucks County history at a reasonable price.
I've included many pictures so you can see exactly what a gem this piece is.

Thanks for looking!
