This mica powder is an artists dream named 'Cranky Ghost' I worked hard getting these pigments to give off not just one boring color but 3 sparkling color shifting mica powder. A little goes a long way when applying it to car paint, tumblers, or nails. This pigment contains 3 metallic color shifting mica pigments. Depending on the way you apply this powder, the lighting, and/or angle it produces a metallic Yellow, green, and blue.

As a fellow artisan I rate this a true multi-color mica pigment powder that produces superb color effects. Normally this mica powder pigment should be applied to a black or very dark colored background for the best effect. As I've experimented I have added this powder to water-base polyethylene and used it in my air brush with great effect on tumblers, pens, and nails. I've also added some of this powder to 90% alcohol to create new metallic alcohol ink ( be sure to add a BB pellet (found at Walmart) in the bottle as it's needed as you shake the bottle). It worked wonders adding this new metallic alcohol ink onto epoxied tumblers. I will mention tests using a little bit of these mica powders in with the epoxy resin create beautiful sparkling color shifting backgrounds for hydro-dipping or other methods ( again very dark background work best for these color shifting mica powder pigments).

There are 15 multi-color varieties are tare weighted at 5 grams in 10 gram jars. Due to the different metallic powders there is a noticeable difference in density. These are sold by weight which makes some jars look more fuller than others, but be rest assured each jar contains 5 grams of mica powder. Also, as I mentioned a little goes a long ways. Now grab a bunch before they sell out and happy crafting!
