This is an beautiful examble of Talish Prayer rug, in design they use light Blue&red mihrap sitting on a blue field, it has all over with lattice rose in center of rug. The Foundation is all pure wool. İt has splendid vibrand colors,as you can see from pics it has beautiful Light blue field,all color are naturel vegetable dyes.
In the mihrap of this rug you can see the date of rug which is hicri ( 1296c ) 1879c )
That means it is around 160 years old. This date make this rug verry rare and unusual. This rug has usefull size that you can hang on the wall or you can use on the floor.
Its in good condition for its own age and very little part of the rug have repailing by mastercraftsmen who spent lots of years on the restoration of antique rugs.

This carpet has it all: age, minimal repair, great condition, historical design roots, great colors, rarity, and specific attribution. For those collectors of authentic, antique caucasion village rugs, this one is a carpet to seriously consider. They do not come along very often.
