Festive holiday color

Gambiered silk, also called mud silk, is the silk of highest quality. Each piece is unique; no two look exactly the same! It is dyed using natural plant ingredients over a span of six months. The process requires specific weather condition and take additional months to complete. The fabric is medium weight pure silk. The back side is dark frowning red, an indication of plant dye. It shows variation in color especially the ends.

The fabric is great for making clothes because it is full of natural elements and is not sticking to the skin.

PLEASE NOTE: because the dying process is lengthy and manually done, there are slight dark marks on the fabric. I have taken multiple photos, each one with slight dark colored marks. Please check the photos carefully. Because of the increased eBay fees and policy change, I can not take any returns. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Care instruction: hand wash with mild detergent and line dry.
