The Pink Birkenstock Blue was created by Birkenstock to be released for a limited time in October for breast cancer awareness month; hence the pink color. Unfortunately, the initial rollout didn't go as planed and the arch supports didn't actually arrive in the U.S. until December, well after Breast Cancer Awareness Month. They produced them again the next year and maybe the year after but in the end the line was discontinued.

So what is the Pink Birkenstock Blue? The Pink Birkenstock Blue uses the exact same shell used in the Birkenstock Blue Casual style. It is not the same shell used in the Heeled style so if you use the Heeled Style this arch support would feel a little lower. The main difference is the top cover. The classic Birkenstock Blue arch supports are covered on the top with blue silk and on the bottom with brown felt. The Pink Birkenstock Blue supports have no bottom cover and the top cover is pink suede leather. The suede leather is super soft and feels amazing against a barefoot. The dye is fixed and will not stain socks.

The 3/4 length of the arch support combined with its relatively thin profile means that these arch supports will fit into a wide range of shoes including athletic, casual and even some dress shoes.

The Pink Birkenstock Blue arch supports were only released in woman's sizes 36 to 42 (Woman's 5 - 11 U.S.) However the size 41 and 42 will fit a U.S. Men's size 8 and 9
