This bulb has a threaded base.  Please confirm this to be the correct base type before ordering because the 1008 required different styles according to the year of production and regional destination...YOUR 1008 MAY REQUIRE A BAYONET-STYLE BULB INSTEAD (push & turn). If so, simply add a note to your order, and it will be sent instead.

If you are unsure, consult your owner's manual or remove the back panel and look at the label on the socket mounting bracket.

This is the threaded version and fits the majority of 1008 machines perfectly; it's not so long that it protrudes and not so short that the light is wasted shining only on the inside of the machine.
