Marshall Field’s Vintage All Silk Tie Red Gray White Art Deco Inspired Shell Design

Soft white silk with beautiful bold gray red and black decorative shell and floral inspired pattern. Lined with white silk.

Dark green Marshall Field & Company Retail tag, The Store for Men, All Silk, with red crest logo.

Pre-owned vintage silk tie I believe from late 1940’s or early 1950’s Chicago. 4” wide and 50.5” long.

I do not see any fraying, the stitching and lining are in good shape. There is some slight yellowing in the white tones, and some light staining in the tones of the gray in the area about 19” up from the bottom, and a small brown dot in the white right about 6” up from the bottom point, but overall in good condition for it’s age. I believe it has been in storage for quite some time.
