This listing is for a hard-to-find vintage biscuit jar or tea canister with the Union K mark. PLEASE NOTE: It has no chips or crazing but there is an inside hairline CRACK, as shown in the last two photos, which doesn’t go through to the outside surface. It is, after all, nearly 100 years old.

HISTORY OF THE MAKER:


“Union K" dishes were Made in Czecho-Slovakia. Circa 1921 the first of their porcelain factories opened. In 1939 all of their factories were closed. These dates coincide with the time period between the two World Wars.
