Vintage Handmade Rob Armstrong guitar made in 1978. One owner from new. Used and in good condition.
The owner of this vintage beauty recently contacted me, asking for help and advice in finding a new home for the guitar. It has now returned from Rob's workshop with a clean bill of health, a new set of strings and is ready to find a buyer.
The guitar has a wonderful tone... the years have been kind and the sound is confident and mellow with a warm strong bass and detailed clear highs. It plays great with either a plectrum or finger-picking style. It is very loud and projects very well but can be sweet and gentle if played with a little restraint. It's a lovely guitar.
It does have issues with the lacquer having cracked over time. This is quite extensive but in no way detracts from it's sound. It is a cosmetic issue that some will like and others not. It does also have some strumming marks and a few dinks on the soundboard.
A close inspection of the photo's is recommended.
