Vintage Vogue American Designer pattern by Scott Barrie. Pattern 1994 from the 1980’s is for a loose fitting dress with asymmetrical bodice and neckline detail in either midi or maxi length. Such a pretty dress! Scott Barrie was one of the first young black fashion designers to establish themselves in the 1960s on New York’s Seventh Avenue. He designed a wide range of clothing from sportswear to sensuous evening gowns. His designs are definitely special and patterns by him are hard to find. I’ve been collecting vintage patterns, notions and textiles for over 30 years and I’ve decided it’s time to share with others who love these vintage items as much as I do! I’ll be downsizing my large collection over the coming months so please check back often. If you are looking for something in particular or have a question, please reach out. Thank you!
