■Description:

  • A cute tabby cat is carefully painted one by one by skilled craftsmen at Yume-Kobo(夢工房), a ceramic studio in Seto-City(瀬戸市), Aichi JAPAN, which is famous for its pottery with cat paintings in Japan.
  • This item is made with Crackle Glaze which is the cracks that occur on the glazed surfaces of ceramics and used as a decorative technique in ceramics.
  • Made with high-quality and abundant pottery clay of Seto that is said to be one of the best in the world and is fired white.
*The city of Seto(瀬戸市) is famous for its pottery and ceramics, so much so that the generic word for ceramics in Japanese is "setomono". It has thus been considered Japan's pottery capital for a very long time.
