Former comic-store employee (with near-psychiatric storage tendencies).

For those who are unacquainted, this issue is part of Jim Lee’s LEGENDARY run with the X-Men. In addition to re-envisioning this flagship team for the modern era, this run is widely considered to have few parallels since the team’s inception in 1963.

NB: This issue marks the first appearance of a central member of the team: Psylocke.

NB: This issue is also a short-printed newsstand copy of this much sought-after issue. Newsstand copies were radically short-printed relative to their “Direct” counterparts that were sent to comic stores throughout the 1990s.

This issue is estimated as being in NM condition according to the CBCS Rating Guidelines. It is in phenomenal shape for a newsstand copy. In the early 1990s, very few of these issues survived the abuses of the newsstands unscathed in this condition.

Pricing was set according to Mile High Comics. Established in 1969, they are the standard. Please visit their website and search “Uncanny X-Men 1963” for a price check.

With the sheer reverence surrounding Jim Lee’s work ... and with this run being considered one of the definitive high points of the Uncanny X-Men ... this issue promises a massive longevity for being sought after.

Cheers to fellow fans!
