■Description:

Cute good friend owls and Japanese messages are carefully painted one by one by a skilled Seto ware craftsman in Seto-City, Aichi JAPAN. You can feel the warmth of pottery.
Japanese message says "Stay healthy and happy forever(いつまでも元気でしあわせ)".
This item is made with Crackle Glaze which is the cracks that occur on the glazed surfaces of ceramics and used as a decorative technique in ceramics.

*The city of Seto is famous for its pottery and ceramics, so much so that the generic word for ceramics in Japanese is "setomono". It has thus been considered Japan's pottery capital for a very long time.
