The cutting tool adopts SK5 composite steel process. The upper layer of steel is
soft, and the lower layer of steel is harder. Good steel is used on the blade.
After overall heat treatment, the hardness reaches up to HRC62 plus or minus
2 degrees, ensuring the sharpness and durability of the cutting edge. The blade
plane adopts an arc-shaped groove design (the advantage of arc-shaped groove
design is that only the edge of the blade needs to be ground when grinding), and
the characteristics of composite steel and groove design make grinding
more convenient and fast.

head in the direction you wish to cut. Please ensure your cutter head
is cutting the mat as well as your leather to ensure control and reduce
the risk of slippage. When turning the cutter around corners while
cutting, pitch the handle of the cutter away from you for more control,
and when cutting in straight lines pitch the handle of the cutter head
towards you for straighter lines and more efficient cutting.
>> For skiving place your leather flesh side up with the edge you wish
to skive facing away from you on a hard surface the cutter head cannot
cut, such as glass. Holding the cutter with the bevel facing upwards
and the edge of the cutter head facing in the same direction of the
edge of the leather, or at a slight angle as preferred, cut your leather
outwards or across from where you would like the skive to begin
straight through to the edge of the leather.
