This listing is for a very large and unusual antique thumb piano.

This instrument dates to the 19th century and is of Appalachian origin (most likely Kentucky or Virginia).

The instrument is oversized. We have placed a can of soda (not included) in front for size reference.

The instrument has 8 keys, with large F holes on both sides (much like a violin). One side has 4 small carved wooden feet, which indicates that the instrument would have stood upright

It has signs of normal wear and age.

It would need work to play properly, but would also look great as a decorative piece

8.5 x 10.5 x 23.75 inches
