Vintage Small Hand Painted Brass Pill/Trinket Box India Mayan Goddess? 1.5"

Is this a Mayan Goddess or Hindu Goddess? She is beautiful, hand painted, it may be a stone of some sort that is painted on. Oval. Lift off lid. Use for pills or tiny trinkets. 1.5" L x 1.25" W x 3/4" tall. You can polish this up, solid brass or leave as is with the original patina. Really lovely item.
