Bedford cord, named after the town of New Bedford in the US where it was developed, is a durable fabric with feint lengthwise ridges. Lighter than conventional denim but just as versatile and practical, and with the addition of 2% elastane the added stretch gives greater comfort. This fabric should not be likened to conventional corduroy fabric.

The jeans have had a light wash resulting in a  soft touch and worn in look muted colours.

Style: traditional fit = a wide leg cut, slightly tapered, easy to wear, roomy, comfortable. Definitely not slim or skinny fit.
