This is a mid-century short silver-tone candelabrum. It has a padded felt-type base. It does not have a makers mark on it. Although it is not marked as silver-plated it probably is as it has a silver-plated colour and appearance to it.

It takes a standard sized taper dinner candle as is demonstrated in photographs 2 and 13.

The candles in the photographs are not included in the sale.

Condition

It is in reasonable condition for its age with some tarnishing on its body which looks like oxidisation which would happen to a silver-plated item that had not been cleaned in a long time. There are also numerous scuffs and scratches on its body.

There are no signs of the silver-plate having pitted.

There are a few signs of the silver-plate starting to bubble or flake underneath the sconces.

There are signs of the silver-plate having worn through in places around the base and on the underside of the sconces.

The item stands securely and firmly and does not wobble.

Please see the photographs for an accurate representation of the item's overall condition.

It is approximately 91mm high by 216mm wide by 77mm deep.

It weighs approximately 282g

The item comes from a pet free home.
