The book is not new and has been read, but it is in excellent condition. There is no apparent damage to the cover. The dust jacket (if applicable) is included for hardcovers. There are no missing or damaged pages, creases, or tears, and no or very limited underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. It may have minimal identifying marks on the inside cover and very minimal wear and tear.
