1:72 HOBBY MASTER HA5805 LOCKHEED F-117A NIGHTHAWK, "OPERATION ALLIED FORCE", 82-806, 7TH FS "SCREAMIN DEMONS VEGA 31", KOSOVO WAR, 1999 *NEW*

Item Description

In the 1970’s Soviet air defense systems improved and the U.S. realized they had to develop
aircraft to counter this. Lockheed Skunk Works was tasked with the job and two aircraft were built
under the code name “Have Blue” that proved stealth aircraft could be produced. As a result the
F-117 Nighthawk was developed and first flew in 1981 with the first production F-117 80-10785
making its maiden flight on April 20, 1982 but it wasn’t until 1988 that the Pentagon confirmed its
existence.

F-117A Nighthawk 82-806 “Something Wicked” was accepted September 12, 1984. The aircraft
from Holloman AFB 7th FS “Screamin Demons” was assigned to the 8th FS during “Operation
Allied Force” and based at Aviano AB, Italy. On March 27th 1999 82-806’s call sign was “Vega31”
with a mission to bomb Serbian forces. During the mission the aircraft was hit by one of two
missiles and became the first F-117 lost in combat. The pilot ejected safely and was rescued.
F-117 82-806 had previously flown 39 successful missions in Operation Desert Storm.

Item Condition

Model and box in "Brand New" condition.

Photos 2 through 5 are of the actual item for sale. The remainder are from the internet to better show the model itself.  Please check the photos before purchasing as the photos form part of the item condition declaration. The condition of the item at time of shipping is exactly per the photos.  Please don't contact me after purchase requesting partial refunds on the basis of the item having "arrived in different condition to description".  I don't do partial refunds due to way too many scammers on Ebay trying to get discounts after the purchase.  I will 100% defend the condition being as described and as supported by my perfect feedback record.

You can buy with confidence.  I open each of the models and review it before listing and declare any defects I can find. That said, given many models come from the manufacturer with very tiny flaws, occasionally I miss something. (I'm not perfect) so please make sure you view the photos closely and contact me if you have any questions or concerns.  My feedback as a seller has always been outstanding with thousands of satisfied buyers over many years, and I always do my utmost to ensure buyers are happy with both the product and service.  Feel free to read the comments to see that buyers have always felt my items match the description, are shipped on time, and well packaged to minimise any chance of damage in transit.

Please note:  I describe my items as honestly as possible.  I do describe items as new if I bought them directly from a retailer or re-seller as new but please understand that many of these models were produced fifteen or more years ago so the boxes will have some shelf wear which is consistent with that age and the model having been on shop shelves for a number of years.  Many manufacturer's models may also have some degree of paint rash or similar issues which I look for when I list my items.  Occasionally I might miss a small issue.  Many sellers don't even look and simply list items outright as new.  If you are the kind of buyer who is going to have a problem with the most tiny of factory imperfections or some shelf wear to the outer packaging, or have any questions or concerns as to condition, please contact me before purchasing to confirm.

Note:  Due to recent scammers, I can no longer accept returns.  Check my feedback and you'll see that items are as described and packaged securely for shipment and genuine buyers can buy with utmost confidence.
