Chromed case, stainless steel back cover original signed Mimo.

31 mm (not counting the crown), 38 mm long (lugs to lugs).
BAND:
new, nylon 16 mm.


 This unique watch was kept till our time in good condition. Any defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as described. Photos are of the actual watch.

A LITTLE HISTORY:
In 1928, Otto Graef, a German watchmaker and owner of MIMO (an International Maker of Gold Watches) bought out GIRARD - PERREGAUX.   

Constant Girard was far ahead of his time [no pun intended] when he developed the wristwatch as early as 1880; by 1930, sales of wristwatches exceeded the sales of pocket watches for the first time.

World War Two scarcely affected the company's activities. It continued to develop GIRARD-PERREGAUX both in Europe and on the American continent, but concentrated on MIMO for the European markets, supplying Germany with watches well into 1944 through the Swiss.

By 1943, with the Germans were hard pressed for cash, MIMO began supplying the less costly rugged and dependable 9 jewel MIMO watch.

The 1943 MIMO MONITOR with modified 1943 K.F. 410 9 Jewel movement and  the 1940-45 MIMO with modified K.F. .4058 were originally sold to German Soldiers.

2 days after delivery date you can no longer claim damage in shipping. SO REPORT IT IMMEDIATELY!

ITEM RETURNED MUST BE IN SAME CONDITION, AND SAME PACKING, AS WHEN SHIPPED, anything altered, changed, switched, broken damaged by customer, including:  water damage over winding, broken crystal, over oiling, movement adjustments, anything that makes the watch unsellable will not be valid for return.
